Organic Rosewood Essential Oil

The wood of the rosewood tree is hard, compact, and fragrant. The scent of rosewood is refreshing and sweet, somewhat like that of roses. The wood chips are steam distilled to obtain organic rosewood essential oil. Five kilograms of essential oil can be obtained from 100 kilograms of plants, which is approximately 5%. Essential oil of rosewood contains up to 92% linalool, which is its active component. Rosewood oil is a skin-friendly essential oil. It can be applied on skin by diluting in a carrier oil to get smooth, soft and firm skin. It can also treat skin problems, like acne, wrinkles, and stretch marks.
